Crowdnetic Releases Q3 2015 Report: Title II Turns Two - Crowdnetic's Quarterly Private Companies Publicly Raising Data Analysis For the Period Ending September 23, 2015

On September 23, 2015, Title II of the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act (“JOBS Act”) officially passed the second-year milestone since the SEC regulations that lifted the prohibition on publicly soliciting investments for private securities became effective. Through the data collected by CrowdWatch—Crowdnetic’s centralized platform for the identification and statistical analysis of private offerings of online securities—we have identified over 6,000 private offerings. The 6,063 distinct offerings have recorded capital commitments (“RCC”) of approximately $870.0 million. Compared to the 4,712 offerings that had received capital commitments of $385.8 million through the end of the first year of Title II activity, this represents an approximate growth of 28.7% in the number of offerings and 125.5% in the amount of recorded capital commitments. Aggregate success rates have also increased from 20.2% at the end of the first year to the current rate of 26.3%, representing an increase of 30.2%.
